We are formally approved as a training practice. This means that we are involved in training qualified doctors who want to become GPs. Dr Leonard has completed a postgraduate certificate in medical education, which involved a lot of reading, as well as two 8000 word essays and some practical experience. Once the course was completed we had to gain approval from the Deanery to become a training practice; this involved the practice being scrutinised for half a day by team of five people. Dr Fargnoli and Dr Brinkhurst are also involved in training.
Our current GP Registrar for the period Aug 2011 to Sept 2012
is Dr Mohamed Koker.
